I have been SO excited to go through the images from Melissa & Matt’s Pittsburgh Botanic Garden wedding! I can’t say enough about these two and how absolutely sweet they are together. Not to mention the incredible amount of love shared among their families & friends. Their day was FILLED with laughter & joy (and a few happy tears!) from the moment we arrived. As soon as I walked into the suite where Melissa & her bridesmaids were getting ready, I knew it was gonna be a fun day!
We met up with Melissa & Matt at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for some getting ready photos before heading to the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden for the rest of the wedding day festivities. The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden has so much to offer as a wedding venue, from a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space and a barn with a tented patio, to a seemingly endless amount of beautiful gardens & scenery throughout the property that is just perfect for photos!
Melissa & Matt did a first look by the Lotus Pond in the Japanese Garden, which ended up being the perfect spot for bridal party photos & portraits of the two of them. We made our way back to the main venue space for a beautifully sunny ceremony and a reception that included a full range of positive emotions — love & excitement, lots of happy tears, & some killer dance moves! And of course we couldn’t end the night without heading up into the meadow at sunset for a few more portraits in that golden light!
