At long last, the wait is over! Many of you have been asking to see these photos, and I’ve finally gotten a chance to sift through them all.

For those of you who may not know, in May 2015, my husband and I traveled to Tanzania in Africa to teach a photography course for Duquesne University’s Study Abroad program. We spent nearly three weeks in this beautiful east-African country. During this time, we were fortunate enough to go on safari in two of Tanzania’s national parks and in one conservation area. This first blog post features some of the wildlife we encountered on our first safari in Tarangire National Park. Zebras, warthogs, giraffes, olive baboons, elephants, unique birds, and the baobab tree – Africa’s “Tree of Life.” Enjoy! More photos to come.
