We had an absolutely beautiful October day for Brittany & Bryan’s Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall wedding. It started with an intimate ceremony at Ascension Lutheran Church in Robinson Township with their siblings, nieces, & nephew by their side in the wedding party. After a really fun photo op with a fire truck that one of Bryan’s fellow firemen drove to the church, we headed to Brittany’s family farm for some more photos. And let me tell you, the scenery here was so amazing! The light was perfect, there were plenty of great spots to use, and most importantly, it was a location that was personal to Brittany & Bryan. I could’ve photographed them on the farm for hours, but it was time to head to their reception!
The fire hall was decorated perfectly for the reception, with purple uplighting and so many cute details tying into the fireman theme. After the newlyweds danced their first dance, and Brittany had a dance with her father, the dance floor opened and their guests mingled for the rest of the evening. Even the little ones had a blast, especially when the DJ played Baby Shark by special request! Of course we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a night photo, and once again the firemen hooked us up by pulling two fire trucks out of the garage and turning their lights on for the shot. We were even able to grab a few group photos while we were out there too!
Brittany & Bryan, thank you both so much for including me in your wedding day! Your day was so much fun and full of little personal touches. I loved being a part of it and I’m so happy for you two!
