Erin & Jim’s Hotel Monaco wedding was my last wedding of the 2018 season, and it definitely did not disappoint! I met up with Erin & her bridesmaids at her parents’ house, and right off the bat I knew it would be a fun day. Everyone was in great spirits as we kicked the day off with a group photo in their matching silk kimonos! As soon as the finishing touches were done on Erin’s dress, she slipped on her gorgeous Louboutins and off we went to the church!
The newlyweds said “I do” at Mother of Sorrows church in Murrysville and were lead out of their ceremony by a bagpipe player! From there, we made our way into downtown Pittsburgh and took some photos underneath the David. L. Lawrence Convention Center since the rain was coming down. We arrived just in time for the colorful lights to turn on, which gave us some awesome backgrounds to work with! The sun had set while we wrapped up these photos, but that didn’t stop us from snagging a few KILLER night shots on Hotel Monaco’s rooftop patio as the rain came pouring down!
The rest of the evening was filled with laughter & fun, and a whole lot of dancing thanks to Three Rivers Entertainment’s live band, In the Mood. Erin & Jim are such a sweet couple and I am so happy to have gotten to finish out the year photographing them on their wedding day. Have a look below at some highlights from their day!
