Jewish Wedding at Phipps Conservatory | Naomi & Leon

I’d been looking forward to photographing Naomi & Leon’s beautiful Jewish wedding at Phipps Conservatory ever since I first met with them back in March of this year. Everything they described as being the most important to them on a wedding day was right up my alley, particularly the focus on all of their family & friends being together in once place. I should mention, neither of their families are from Pittsburgh, so it was fantastic that so many of the people they cherish the most were able to travel here to celebrate their marriage!

In addition to the all of the special relationships I had the opportunity to witness & photograph, Naomi & Leon also had some of the most colorful decor that was so beautifully put together, including their attire! Naomi’s pink dress was a custom design made by her mom, and Leon wore an incredible blue suit by Joseph Orlando Clothiers. Hepatica did an amazing job with the floral decor, including the corsages, boutonnieres, chuppah, & centerpieces at the reception. And of course Phipps Conservatory was the perfect venue for a bright, colorful wedding like this one! The outdoor space was perfect for the wedding ceremony & cocktail hour, and the indoor spaces were so full of natural light and greenery when we moved back inside for the reception. Matt Ferrante & Modern Times kept the guests dancing throughout the evening, and you can’t forget the delicious dessert spread by Bella Christie & Lil Z’s Sweet Boutique!
