There’s something about weddings in the city that just feels so elegant and classic, and Alyssa & Bobby’s LeMont wedding truly fit that bill. From Alyssa’s stunning Allure bridal gown and Bobby’s burgundy tuxedo, to the beautiful architecture of the Smithfield United Church of Christ and the breathtaking views from the LeMont overlooking the city skyline, this wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. But what made it even better was that Alyssa & Bobby are two of the sweetest, loving people (especially together!), their families were so incredibly welcoming, and their bridal party was a blast to spend the day with.

After a beautiful ceremony downtown at the Smithfield UCC, we made our way over to the North Side where we’d been planning to take photos if the weather held out. We were optimistic leaving church that it hadn’t started raining yet, so off we went! Little did we know that a massive downpour would be heading our way in just a few minutes! Somewhat stranded in a North Side park, we ducked into a bus shelter for a minute before running for cover across the street. And I have to say, of course no one’s excited when the weather doesn’t cooperate with your plans, but this group was in high spirits the entire time, laughing and ready to roll with whatever came our way. We were even able to squeeze out a few more minutes of photo time back in the park after the rain slowed down before heading to the reception!

The LeMont was decorated beautifully, with the city lights showing off in the background across the river. Alyssa & Bobby spent the evening laughing and dancing with family & friends on a packed dance floor thanks to DJ Lea of the Guarino Group! Take a look below at some highlights from their day!
