I initially met with Kristen & Aaron over a video chat last year when they were searching for their wedding photographer, but we didn’t have a chance to get together in person until it was closer to their wedding. I could tell from our initial FaceTime call that they were a sweet couple, but after spending time with them in person, I seriously couldn’t wait to photograph their Riverside Landing wedding! The three of us sat down and it was as if I’d known them for years. It’s so fun for me when I really click with a couple, because it makes the wedding day that much more enjoyable to photograph!
After a string of rainy weekends, Kristen & Aaron got married on a beautiful November day at Zion Lutheran Church in Penn Hills. Once the knot was officially tied, we made our way over to Riverside Landing in Oakmont, which had so many gorgeous locations surrounding it for photos! I know Kristen and I were most excited about the weeping willow tree next to the venue, and we were both SUPER pumped when it was still lush & green in early November! After taking a little stroll down the river walk and capturing as much as we could of the gorgeous golden hour light, we made our way to their reception to celebrate with their guests the rest of the evening. Take a look below at some highlights from their day!
