By the time a wedding day rolls around, I’ve usually gotten to know my couples pretty well. We typically meet 2-3 times throughout the wedding planning process to discuss wedding-related details, and often during this time, I get to know them on a more personal level. And just like any interaction we have with other people throughout the course of our lives, sometimes you meet someone and you just click. This has been my experience with Megan & Mike.
From our first intro meeting, to their hiking engagement session, to our final pre-wedding meeting before the big day, Megan & Mike have been one of the most laid-back, down-to-earth, fun-loving couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. And each time I’m around them, it becomes more and more clear how perfect they really are for each other. I knew going into this wedding day that it would be a blast.
Megan & Mike’s gorgeous Shady Elms Farm wedding was held on a picture-perfect August day. Megan & her girls spent the morning relaxing in a beautiful, quaint farmhouse on the property while Mike & his groomsmen stayed tucked away near the barn. From the lovely outdoor ceremony to the buzzing dance floor and everything in between, the details of their wedding day came together perfectly.
To the newlyweds: Thanks so much for having me be a part of your wedding day! Congratulations to you both!
