Shannopin Country Club Wedding

After meeting with Carolyn & Nick to discuss the details of their St. John Neumann Church / Shannopin Country Club wedding, I could tell the day was going to be very unique and special for them. The musical talent of their family & friends was an especially beautiful gift that played such an important role throughout each part of the wedding day. Live musicians & a choir graced us with their musical presence throughout the ceremony, while a live jazz trio provided the musical entertainment throughout dinner and into the reception (not to mention a few cameos mixed in there from family members and friends on the strings & vocals). It was truly a pleasure to witness the talent of this group!

Carolyn & her bridesmaids got ready at her parents’ house, while Nick & his groomsmen prepared for the day at his apartment. We all headed to St. John Neumann Church for their wedding ceremony, after which Carolyn surprised Nick with a red Corvette that she rented for them for the rest of the day! Nick’s face was priceless when he stepped outside for the big reveal. They rode off in style to Shannopin Country Club while the rest of us followed in our much-less-impressive vehicles!

Shannopin Country Club was decorated beautifully for their reception and provided the perfect backdrop for the bridal party photos and bride & groom portraits. We even had some fun cruising the grounds in some golf carts! The reception was definitely set up to be fun for all ages – not only was there the dance floor in the main room, but there was also an outdoor patio AND a separate game room which I’m sure the little ones enjoyed! We wrapped up the evening with a few night portraits, and of course, a selfie with the newlyweds! Here’s a little preview of their day!
