There are a seemingly endless amount of options for wedding venues in the Pittsburgh & surrounding areas, from classic downtown buildings to rustic barns in rural areas, and everything in between. And there are certain ones that if given the opportunity, I could photograph in them again and again. It just so happens that Natalie & Marc’s wedding was taking place in two of my favorite Pittsburgh wedding venues, so when Natalie contacted me to photograph her Saint Paul Cathedral and Soldiers & Sailors wedding, needless to say I was thrilled!

Natalie & Marc had an absolutely beautiful ceremony at St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood. The architecture inside this church is breathtaking, and the bridal party’s elegant all-black attire (aside from Marc’s blue tuxedo, which I loved!) was perfect for this classic wedding. We made our way across the street to the Mellon Institute just as the rain began, but we were still able to capture some great images under cover. Natalie & Marc were so fun to photograph, especially the way they smiled at each other and interacted throughout the day! These two are perfect together, and are surrounded with so much love from their family & friends.

After cruising around town in the party bus for a bit, we made our way to Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall for the rest of the evening. Another one of Pittsburgh’s historic buildings, Soldiers & Sailors makes for a beautiful wedding venue, especially with the classic, neutral decor Natalie & Marc chose for their reception. Their guests lined the top balcony as the newlyweds were introduced below, and as soon as the dance floor opened, it was packed for the rest of the night!
