What better way to kick off my 2018 wedding season than Audrey & Greg’s gorgeous spring wedding at the Fez? April weddings in Pittsburgh can be a bit unpredictable weather-wise, and this stubborn winter refusing to move along certainly required us to have all the backup plans in place, just in case. While we did wake up to a snowy morning, the sun came out in abundance by early afternoon and made for an absolutely beautiful day for Audrey & Greg’s wedding!
We started out with Audrey and her bridesmaids getting ready at the DoubleTree Pittsburgh Airport. Audrey shared the most adorable first look with her dad outside on the terrace before heading to the church to get ready for the wedding ceremony. We arrived at Holy Trinity Church and made sure Audrey was tucked away before meeting up with Greg and his groomsmen to grab a few photos before the ceremony began. Once the couple said “I do” and any nerves of the morning had subsided, there was nothing left to do but kick back, relax, and enjoy the party for the rest of the day!
We stopped by Robert Morris University for some photo ops, and the light pouring into the gardens that time of day was just stunning. Wait until you see the glow of Audrey’s cathedral veil blowing in the wind! I could’ve photographed there for another hour, but there was a reception to get to, so off we went! The Balconade Room at the Fez was decorated beautifully with floral & candelabra centerpieces, purple uplighting, and of course, a cookie table! The reception was a blast, complete with some wonderful speeches, an anniversary dance (always a favorite of mine!), and a packed dance floor for the rest of the evening.
