Every so often throughout the course of a wedding season, I’ll catch myself thinking in the midst of a wedding, “Man, I have the coolest job ever!” Those times when the bride and groom are just the sweetest people, the bridal party is fun & welcoming, and the families make you wish you were a relative too. Courtney & Rob’s wedding at the Chadwick was definitely one of those weddings! They were both so genuinely happy as soon as we arrived that morning, despite the potential for some heavy downpours later in the day.
After both the bridesmaids & groomsmen got ready at a nearby hotel, we all headed to the Chadwick for the rest of the day’s wedding festivities. The outdoor ceremony space was decorated beautifully and was a perfect shelter from the windy weather. The wedding ceremony was full of smiles and laughter, not to mention a plethora of movie quotes thrown into the mix! And wouldn’t you know it, not only did the rain hold off long enough for portraits outdoors, but the wind died down and we had a perfect window of sunshine before the storms rolled in!
The rest of the night was spent inside the reception room with speeches inducing both laughter and tears, delicious food, cake, & cookies, and music by DJ Magic Moments that had nearly everyone off their feet and on the dance floor. And of course we took some time to step outside and grab a few night shots before heading out for the evening! Take a look below at some highlights from Courtney & Rob’s wedding day!
